Heaven or Hell?
The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and that none of us deserve God's grace or mercy.
Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Because of this sin, there is a consequence. This is eternal separation from God that is spent in Hell.
Romans 6:23a
"For the wages of sin is death;"
Because of God's love for man, He made a way for us to escape that punishment that we all deserve. He sent His only Son to die on a cross and take the sins of all mankind on Himself.
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Because Jesus Christ was willing to do this for us, God is able to offer to us the gift of an eternity in Heaven with Him.
Romans 6:23b
"but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
All you have to do to accept this gift is believe in what Christ did for you on the cross and that he rose from the grave 3 days later. Tell God through prayer that you believe this and want forgiveness of your sin. Ask Him to save you from the eternity that we all deserve.
Romans 10:9 & 10
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Once you have asked Jesus Christ to save you, He has. As long as you truly believe and meant what you've said, there is no reason to doubt your salvation and you can never lose it.
John 10:28
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."
